Gas Welding & Cutting Goggles
Gas Welding & Oxy-Acetylene Cutting Goggles
Thermal cutting and brazing require specialized eye protection distinct from heavy arc welding. MUSSE provides gas welding and cutting goggles featuring Shade 5 lenses explicitly designed to filter out the intense light of oxy-acetylene torches. Our ANSI-compliant designs feature convenient flip-up mechanisms, allowing workers to safely inspect their cuts without removing the entire goggle. As compact, high-margin accessories, these goggles are perfect for MUSSE’s mixed-container consolidation. Effortlessly tuck them into bulk orders of heavy-duty welding gloves and respirators to maximize your container yield.
Global Sourcing FAQ: Welding Goggles
Q1: Can these goggles be used for Arc or TIG welding?
A1: No. Gas welding goggles typically use a Shade 5 lens, which is only suitable for brazing and cutting. Arc, TIG, and MIG welding produce much brighter light and require a helmet with Shade 9 to 13 filtration to prevent "arc eye."
