Industrial Knee Braces & Supports

Prolonged kneeling on concrete, tile or gravel is a leading cause of knee strain in the skilled trades. Work knee pads and knee protectors spread the load away from the kneecap and put a cushioning layer between the knee and the floor, for tile installers, plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, roofers and warehouse pickers.

Our range is built around an adjustable 600D polyester outer with a foam or neoprene pad. The padding material is what separates the models:

  • PE foam (MU-01101, MU-01103, MU-01104, MU-01105): closed-cell polyethylene foam, the most widely used padding in this range. Four models share this construction in different shapes and strap layouts.
  • PVC foam (MU-01102): a PVC foam pad in the same 600D polyester outer.
  • Rubber foam (MU-01106): a rubber foam pad, again in the 600D polyester outer.
  • Neoprene (MU-01107): a neoprene knee pad insert, without the separate polyester outer, for use inside work trousers with knee pockets or where a slimmer profile is wanted.

Every model is adjustable, so one size covers a wide range of users and safety managers can issue a single standard item across a mixed workforce.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are MUSSE work knee pads made of?
Six of the seven models use a 600D polyester outer with a foam pad inside: PE foam on the MU-01101, MU-01103, MU-01104 and MU-01105; PVC foam on the MU-01102; and rubber foam on the MU-01106. The MU-01107 is a neoprene knee pad insert.
Q: What is the difference between PE foam, PVC foam and rubber foam padding?
All three are closed-cell foams used as the cushioning layer. PE (polyethylene) foam is the most common across this range and is used on four of the models. PVC foam and rubber foam are offered as alternatives on the MU-01102 and MU-01106 respectively. Contact us if you need help matching a padding material to your application.
Q: What is 600D polyester and why is it used for knee pads?
600D refers to the denier, or yarn thickness, of the woven polyester fabric. It is a common weight for workwear and equipment outers because it resists abrasion while remaining flexible enough to wrap and fasten around the knee.
Q: Can the knee pads be produced in our own colours?
Yes. All seven models can be produced in other colours to your requirement. MUSSE supplies knee pads wholesale and accepts OEM orders from Taiwan.
