Furnace observation goggles are designed for furnace operators and maintenance workers who need to look inside an active furnace. The cobalt blue Neotherm glass IR filter reduces the intensity of infrared radiation and visible light from the furnace, helping protect the eyes during observation tasks.
This model is designed to clip onto a safety helmet, allowing it to be used in combination with other head protection equipment. It uses a black ABS and PC frame with a PC lens and a 50 mm round cobalt blue glass IR filter. Certified to EN171 for infrared filters and ANSI Z87.1, and manufactured in Taiwan.
Furnace observation glasses are specialised protective eyewear used when viewing the inside of an active furnace. The lenses are fitted with a filter that limits the amount of visible light and infrared radiation reaching the eyes, allowing safe visual inspection of furnace operations.
